Halloween

Caroline was a fairy for Halloween. She had a great time going from house to house. I think she was in awe of all the candy that was being dumped into her pumpkin.

Other activities this past month included icing Halloween cookies with her cousin Carson.

This was mask was in a Halloween card. Notice the tape on the side. A paper mask doesn't last two seconds around Caroline :)

Dog Days of Summer

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. I know I've said that before but this time it has been so long I had to think for a second what my password was to log in! Our summer has completely flown by. In fact I go back to school in two weeks :( Although I must admit I'm kind of glad to get back into a set schedule. Caroline and I have had a blast this summer. Here is a really long post of our events this summer. I've also included Caroline's version of the event words.

We went to the furm (farm) with some of our friends.

Wa wa the fouers (watered the flowers)

Dug in the dirt and pulled weeds.

Went divin (driving)

We sim (swam) a lot....

Visited with our cousins - Lane, Will, Jacob, and Matthew.

And ate lots of popsics (popsicles)

Happy Birthday Carson!

We celebrated Carson's first birthday at the zoo. It was a perfect beautiful Spring Day with a nice breeze. The kids fed all the animals and we even had monkey cupcakes! Happy first birthday Carson!

There was a baby kangaroo exhibit where the kids were able to pet the joeys and take their picture holding one.

Happy Birthday Evan!

Evan turned 3 and what better way to celebrate than with a firetruck theme!

Evan's party came complete with a firetruck bouncy, fireman hats and a real firetruck visit. Caroline had a great time at his party. She had no problems running and jumping with the 3 year olds. She also enjoyed playing with his new birthday toys.

It was quite an experience trying to get all the kids to pose on the firetruck.

As you can see Caroline had a blast!

Easter Weekend

The festivities started with a party at school.

Then continued Saturday with an Easter Egg Hunt and Petting Zoo at the pier.

Caroline loved the duck. She kept saying "quack quack" to it.

Her Easter basket had a Farm Theme but she was mostly interested in her new bubble mower.
